Is sleep training worth the cost?

The benefits of sleep training allows you and your family to have rest filled nights, a happy baby that sleeps anywhere, as well as flexibility to travel knowing that your baby will be able to sleep great in a new environment!

Your families well being is important! Sleep deprivation in a baby (or a parent) can have negative impacts on their every day life. Sleep deprivation impacts many things including your ability to think clearly, learn well and have a strong immune system to fight colds. Sleep deprivation can lead to stress and frustration and feeling overwhelmed by simple things.

As a sleep consultant I can help you regain sleep filled nights again so that your family can enjoy everyday moments without yawning your way through.

Is Sleep Training covered by insurance?

Although our sleep packages aren’t covered by insurance, they are often covered by FSA and HSA. Sleep training is worth the cost for your to use your health savings card!

Important things you need to know:

1. Call your FSA or HSA administrator before you purchase a sleep package you may need pre-approval. Ask what paperwork is required.

2. You may need a “letter of medical necessity” from your family care practitioner. Just call their office, and the front desk staff will help you coordinate.

3. Because sleep training programs like ours are relatively new, the eligibility category for baby sleep consultants is still a little unclear. Someone I know was told that sleep training was covered under the “newborn care” category; another said they were eligible under the “Health Institute Fee”.

4. With FSA, you may have to pre-pay for your sleep training package and submit a receipt for reimbursement. So just ask us for a receipt, and submit it to your FSA administrator.

5. If you have an HSA debit card, you can simply use your HSA debit card to pay for sleep training services.
